Manual Sequencing
Manual Sequencing is an advanced feature. They are to be used by
those people that are familiar with their computers and know the
program rather well. They should be used when you want to have a
sequenced database but do not want to subscribe to the product
update subscription and feel that you have the time to manually
sequence over 800 products, editing each product as you go.
Sequencing your products does not leave much room for error.
Products must be sequenced with all product clearly divided into
sections with no section appearing twice. To sequence a database you
would need to sit down with the current order form, begin with
subtotal A and the first product. You would call up that product by
part #. In the sequence field you would enter the item number as it
appears on the order form, the subtotal field would be the subtotal
column that the item is in. You would continue to do this for the
remainder of the order form. For example, lets say Gentle cleansing
Cream is item #1, and Creamy Cleanser is #2, you would put a 1 in
the sequence # and A in the subtotal field, for Creamy Cleanser you
would put a 2 in the sequence # and A in the subtotal field. My
guess is not many of you are going to do this. If you do, I’d be
interested in hearing how it went.
Creating PrePacks -. PrePacks can be created for
any group of existing products. Prepacks appear on the orderform in
the PrePack section. When you select Prepack The system will display
additional windows used to enter the products and quantities which
are contained in the prepack..
Select either Done or Cancel from the bottom of the screen. Done
will save the changes and return you to the product window. Cancel
will abort changes and return you to the product window.
